Chummie now Originates in the Tax Haven of the Netherlands Antilles!!!

Wow! This is getting much worse than we anticipated and happening much faster.

Amazon appears to have stopped Theos Medical Systems from being a seller on Amazon. So, we assume, that Amazon cannot (will not) purchase anything from Theos. But Amazon has been selling a Chummie bedwetting alarm which they had earlier purchased from Theos. This item had been declared to originate in China. Now from Amazon's listing of this alarm and its Product Details published on Amazon.com:

·  Product Dimensions: 0.5 x 2.5 x 2 inches ; 1 ounces
·  Shipping Weight: 6.4 ounces (View shipping rates and policies)
·  Shipping: This item is also available for shipping to select countries outside the U.S.
·  Origin: Netherlands Antilles
·  ASIN: B00A8GF6BO
·  UPC: 854950002023
·  Item model number: TC300B

Please note the item flagged in yellow above. This item originated in China (as it still does on other sites). Suddenly, this item on Amazon is originating in the Netherlands Antilles. This is a well-known tax haven in the Caribbean, used by a variety of people and parties who can hide their identities and also avoid paying U.S. taxes. In other words, it can be, and often is, a haven for tax dodgers.

Would anyone care to guess who it may be that has registered in the Netherlands Antilles, may want to remain anonymous and may not want to pay U.S. taxes? We are surprised that Amazon seems to have looked the other way in this matter and appears to be complacent in buying Chummie products made by Theos Medical Systems from a mysterious source in a tax-dodgers' haven!

Which brings us back to our appeal to you, the customer, at the bottom of our last blog entry here just two days ago!

Amazon Removes Theos Medical Systems as a Seller on Amazon.com

And we shall add one more matter to our appeal to

You, the customer --

Are you going to ignore the abundant negative evidence about Theos Medical Systems? Ignore the evidence that was strong enough for Amazon to revoke Theos's selling privileges on Amazon.com, the most severe action that Amazon could take against a seller who is in strong violation of Amazon's policies and general ethics?

Are you going to buy inferior products at inflated prices from a seller who has been abundantly proved to be dishonorable and irresponsible in the fake promotion of his products, and aggressively and falsely attacking his competitors? This is NOT how business is conducted in America, using bullying and nefarious tactics and abundant false information!

Are you going to buy Chummie products sold by a mysterious seller in the Netherlands Antilles, a well know haven for tax dodgers? This seller may not be paying U.S. taxes.

We certainly hope that you, the customer, will strongly deny and turn down such spurious business, unless the seller becomes abundantly open and honest and revokes and removes both his false advertising and attacks on his competitors, and becomes a good citizen instead of attempting to be anonymous and possibly avoid U.S. taxes. This is the only honorable way to proceed with a nefarious and dishonorable party, to deny him the profit of his dishonest and misdirected activities.

Theos Medical Systems & Chummie Involved with Substantial Fraud with Paid Reviews on Amazon.com - Update

We have been looking at https://sites.google.com/site/fraudonamazonreviewsin which the author has dissecting Chummie’s Amazon sales in August. The results are truly awesome!

On the page
the author analyzes the period starting August 1. This is a reasonable current stretch of time.

As of August 31, 2014 Chummie has shown 171 reviews across its six products listed on Amazon. And, of course, the Amazon stars are superlative.

But Chummie is now seriously caught in its well of deceit and outright lies.

We are taking the liberty of outright copying from the important conclusions from the site

The Amazon Reviews system is being flagrantly ABUSED by Chummie. Chummie's 5-stars Reviews on Amazon are mostly FAKE!
Chummie's "high" stars rating is obviously ridiculously high in reality, and deserves a very low stars rating.
Chummie, well known for its hype and falseness, has been cheating Amazon customers by buying 5-stars reviews for its products on Amazon! There can be no doubt about Chummie's deceit!
Of ALL Chummie product reviews on Amazon over the period starting August 1, 2014 64% are definitely FAKE!
Amazon, Please pay attention to the above data and analysis.
Your customers are being deceived by a very unethical seller!
Amazon's reputation is being ruined for allowing such fraudulent Reviews.

https://sites.google.com/site/fraudonamazonreviews/ contains substantial verifiable data downloaded from Amazon to confirm its conclusions. We encourage the reader to look at this wealth of evidence about Chummies fraudulent self-promotion on Amazon.com .

We have been pointing out for a long time that Theos Medical Systems, the owner of Chummie products, has been living of self-promoted hype and deceit. Now we have substantial evidence that its high “stars points” on Amazon is fake! Chummie’s true Amazon rating would be bad!

Let us look beyond Amazon for actual Chummie performance, since we have absolute proof that Chummie’s Amazon rating is very false. The most complete site where Chummie cannot easily give itself reviews and where sales are spelled out is eBay.

Looking at eBay for this same period of 8/1/14 through 8/31/14 which is analyzed for Chummie on Amazon, we see the following unit sales:

Chummie Premium                     3
Chummie Elite                            9
Chummie Pro (mat)                    2

And for Chummie’s major competititors:

DryBuddyEZ                              43
Wet-Stop3                                 28

Obviously, Chummie is completely outclassed by smart buyers who purchase superior products at lower prices when they are not overwhelmed by Chummie’s bogus hype and fake reviews!

We continue to believe that you cannot change a tiger’s stripes. Or a zebra’s. Theos Medical Systems’ entire culture, and particularly its Principals’ is so imbibed with overwhelming customers and competitors by whatever means that we doubt that they even have the mind-set or ability to compete by fair and ethical rules.

As stated before, we have had a very negative opinion of Theos Medical Systems and its Chummie products since we started this blog over one year ago. Our opinion only gets worse.

Theos Medical Systems & Chummie Involved with Substantial Fraudulent Paid Reviews on Amazon.com

We saw a very interesting news item on https://sites.google.com/site/fraudonamazonreviews.

The news item is called

Fraud & Collusion by Sellers to favorably stuff their Amazon Product Reviews.

Intriguing title, so we looked at it. We have found a “simpatico” who is concerned with fraudulent reviews on Amazon, and looks at what Theos Medical Systems is doing with their Chummie products’ reviews on Amazon. Apparently Theos has developed a reputation for bad ethics.

There is an extensive table of names used by reviewers on the Chummie product reviews. These have been extensively identified as “names” that write 5-stars reviews for many products on Amazon. In the case of these people writing reviews for Chummie,

1.       None are Amazon Verified Purchasers, which suggests that their review experience of the product could be zero.

2.       Many products are covered, and many of these bogus reviewers overlap on the same products.

3.       As pointed out “The probability of so many people in Amazon’s huge buying population buying similar products with substantial overlap is essentially zero. This has to be the result of complicit action by the review writers.
In https://sites.google.com/site/fraudonamazonreviews it is also pointed out that payment for these dishonorable services can be:
1)        Payment in Cash: Paid cash by the sellers to post fraudulent and false 5-stars reviews to inflate the Amazon reviews position of the sellers, or
2)        Payment in Kind: Participating in a scheme to provide each other with 5-star reviews for their mutual benefit.
Consequently, payment may be in Cash or Kind. We believe that most payments for reviews are in cash.
Reading other internet articles about fraud on Amazon reviews, it is well established that there are many persons who will write 5-stars reviews for a small fee. Theos definitely has availed himself of their services.

Looking at the table presented, here are some simple conclusions relating to the fraudulent paid reviews:

       1.   For the Chummie Premium bedwetting alarm, starting from 7/21/14 through 8/13/14, there are fourteen (14) fraudulent 5-stars reviews by such paid reviewers. One fake reviewer “Clay” even reviewed both the Chummie Premium and Elite alarms on the same day (8/13/14). Unbelievable, and only from Chummie!

     2.  For the Chummie Elite bedwetting alarm, starting on 7/17/14 through today (8/13/14), there are fourteen (14) fraudulent 5-stars reviews by such paid reviewers. This is a very large percentage of the total 36 reviews being shown for this alarm today (8/13/14). Chummie is really pushing to make this alarm “popular” even though he is obviously using dirty methods and is in serious violation of Amazon policies.
     3.  For the Chummie Comfy Armband three (3) out of six total reviews come from these fraudulent paid 5-stars reviewers in one week from 7/22/14 though 7/28/14.

     4.   For the Chummie Luxury Overlay five (5) of eight total reviews come from these fraudulent paid 5-stars reviewers in one week from 7/23/14 though 8/5/14.

     5.   For the Chummie Pro Bed-Side bedwetting alarm, five (5) fraudulent paid 5-stars reviewers in 7/22/14 though 8/11/14.

     6.   For the Chummie Potty Training ladder, four (4) fraudulent paid 5-stars reviewers in 7/21/14 though 7/26/14.

These above numbers do not include numerous non-Amazon Verified Purchasers who ONLY have a review for that specific item. Obviously, these could also be fakes.

It is very obvious that Chummie is making a very determined effort to raise his ratings for all of his Chummie products. Unfortunately his method is to try and “fool” Amazon’s customers into a false sense of how great his products are. For a fee, and the right illicit connections, anyone could do it. And if Amazon is willing to remain blissfully ignorant of what should be very obvious to them, then Chummie can continue to make suckers of all of the people that they can trick.

We have had a very negative opinion of Theos Medical Systems and its Chummie products since we started this blog over one year ago. Our opinion only gets worse.

Chummie & Theos Medical Systems Involved with Fraudulent Reviews on Amazon.com

We received the following email:

Dear Amazon,

I noticed this on Amazon.com. I was reading the reviews and comments for Chummie Elite ASIN:B00JQWN744 and noticed the following comment to a review for this thing. I have attached an image of this review and comment for you.
This comment looks 100% legitimate. I followed it and found exactly what is stated in the reviews for Chummie Elite. I am shocked that Amazon allows such fraudulent reviews from Chummie (Theos Medical Systems). I must agree that this is fraud and a “severe violation” of Amazon’s policies. It is people like Chummie that make Amazon’s Reviews less credible, by posting favorable reviews for themselves, and probably unfavorable reviews for their competitors.

This is a very bad situation, and Chummie (Theos) has been caught with his hands in the cookie jar or worse.
You really must take severe action against Chummie so as to not ruin Amazon’s reputation. Cutting off the hands of a thief is not out of line with Biblical remedies.

I am sending a copy of this to DeceitCatcher who has a blog at bedwettingalarmsdeceitcatcher.blogspot.com  in which a very substantial number of deceitful and fraudulent acts by Theos Medical Systems (Chummie) are disclosed and discussed. I am surprised that Amazon has not done sufficient due diligence with respect to Chummie and their disgraceful behavior.

Sincerely,

L. Lions

We examined the Amazon Reviews for this Chummie Elite item and the reviews made by "A.Fielder" and "Alexandra Shafran." The allegations about the relationships between these person and "UnbeatableSales, Inc." were also confirmed and are copied below:

and

As pointed out above, there is no doubt that "A.Fielder" and "Alexandra Shafran" have colluded to prepare 5-star ratings for the Reef Rattan item above sold by "UnbeatableSales, Inc." Both reviews for this expensive and unusual item occurring on the same day by 2 reviewers of the Chummie Elite item, both giving this item 5-stars as well, reeks of collusion and fraud.

We have been stating for over one year in this blog that Theos Medical Systems with their Chummie product are, without question and beyond doubt, the most unethical and deceitful manufacturer in the bedwetting alarm industry. This is now confirmed with significant evidence of Theos colluding with other Amazon sellers to provide each other with false 5-star ratings to boost their Amazon ratings. Disgraceful!

It is also disgraceful, that in spite of substantial evidence being presented to Amazon directly and through this blog, Amazon has not done proper due diligence about the true nature and deceitful character of Theos Medical Systems. This suggests that Amazon is blind to Theos's continuing misdeeds, or that there is someone inside Amazon who is colaborating and colluding with Theos and possibly at the expense of Amazon and that of Amazon's customers who trust Amazon. Theos's behavior, presented here, leaves no doubt that Theos is a major manipulator of Amazon's Review System, both in its own favor and that of its friends and collaborators, and against its competitors with false and even delusional reviews for the gullible public and Amazon. This ruins the credibility of Amazon's Reviews, and casts very deep shadows on all of the superlative Amazon reviews about Theos's products.

Amazon should take strong and punitive action against the manipulative and deceitful Theos Medical Systems. Such action may alleviate the feeling of some customers that they have been misled by Amazon's obviously biased and gullible Reviews to purchase Theos's Chummie and other products on the basis of false and fake reviews.

Chummie: Desperation Deceit

Chummie (and, of course, Theos Medical Systems) keeps extending its levels of deceit to ever higher levels. Not having the capacity or mental acuity to do anything original other than indulge in deceit, Chummie is now trying to imitate this site.

Chummie may never realize that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Unfortunately for them, they are so impaired that they are incapable of doing even a modest job of imitation, limiting their imitation to the use of the words "Bedwetting Alarm(s) Deceit." Beyond this, their postings are typically Chummie, with crude gesticulations, unoriginal ideas and the banalities that Chummie is known for.

As of the moment, we have noticed the following posts in Google search that can be attributed to Chummie:

We are not expert enough to say whether stupidity is a genetic trait, a learned (or unlearned) trait, or something else. But we must give Chummie a high grade for repeating obviously absurd inventions. These have generally been laid to rest, but Chummie and/or Chummies' flacks do not yet sense that with their very limited powers of creativity and thought.

So the story keeps unfolding, with Chummie providing new dimensions of craziness as they vent their spleen at Nytone, DryBuddy and Bedwettingstore. Why these? The answer can only be found in Chummie's weird mind.

This entire thing is becoming more and more entangling for Chummie. Does anyone want to help them move along faster? Perhaps they can tie themselves up so thoroughly in their own obfuscation, that they won't be able to save themselves from themselves. Remember the FDA fiasco?  See

Cheers, everyone!

Note:

Chummie(TM) has a very large number of entries about its deceit in this blog. There are so many more entries and much more serious bad activities attributable to Chummie, so that Chummie has significantly more entries than all other manufacturers combined. You can read all of the Chummie deceit entries on this blog.

Chummie has also been given a 0-stars blog of its own so that its many examples of deceit can stand out by themselves. This Chummie blog is at
